Kim Corbett, LCSW has been in private practice since 2011 andd specializes in Sex Therapy and Marriage/couples Therapy, in addition to addiction and a wide range of mental health and life challenges. Before that, she served as Regional Director of Resources for Human Development and management of a Supportive Housing program, Clinical Director, and most recently, Adjunct Professor at Monmouth University. Scott Pace is a distinguished mental health professional with over 25 years of experience in private practice and community mental health. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), he brings a comprehensive approach to mental health and addiction treatment. In his thriving private practice, Space Counseling (Scott Pace, LLC), Scott specializes in treating adults and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, and substance abuse disorders. His expertise extends to conducting SAP-DOT drug and alcohol evaluations and providing crucial assessments for transportation industry professionals. During his tenure at CPC Behavioral Healthcare, Scott served in multiple leadership roles, including Access Center Coordinator, ICMS Program Coordinator for severely mentally ill clients, and Team Leader for the PACT Program. His involvement in Project START, a federal adolescent addiction program, and his work as an EAP consultant, including critical incident response following 9/11, demonstrates his versatility and commitment to community mental health. Notably, Scott pioneered the development and implementation of the first Mobile Response Behavioral Crisis Service for the Developmentally Disabled across five New Jersey counties (Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex, Mercer, and Hunterdon). Vanessa Ferreira is passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults navigate the emotional ups and downs of growing up. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, mood changes, emotional outbursts, school-related stress, and difficulty adjusting to life transitions. She also supports parents and caregivers in better understanding and connecting with their children. Vanessa draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. Her therapeutic toolbox includes evidence-based therapies like DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive-behavioral Therapy), and Motivational Interviewing. Vanessa brings expertise in As a reunification counselor, she has helped children and parents navigate the difficult path to family reunification, providing therapeutic sessions and comprehensive treatment planning. Known for her calm presence and strong rapport-building skills, Vanessa creates a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore, grow, and thrive.
